September has flown by

Well it seems that school only began a moment ago and here we are with most of September completed.  I spend the month of September establishing routines and building relationships.  This creates a solid base for the year. I believe it is important for the students to feel safe and secure with in the class setting.  We have some new students to this class this year and it has been a joy getting to know them.  It appears they have settled in well and are making friends.  Of course everyone is always welcomed at East Elementary.  The students are good friends that care and support one another.  It is always positive to see this type of intereaction.  Well here is to a great year!
